Hello 2011. iCraft!

December was a tough month to move through. Honestly for me, too much to do in so little time. How I managed to do these projects is true indication of my messy home not seen on the blog :}, this coral design lifted from Jennine.
Shell hairpins with bits of sea glass.
This special mirror is made for Michael Mo Allen; a belated Christmas gift. It has abalone pieces tucked about. My brother-in-law gifted me with a stash of broken abalone for crafting--I put it to use immediately. This mirror is gorgeous!

Goodbye 2010. You were so good to me!

Caring for Kawai & watch him grow this year!
Maui twice: 1) one to see my mommy, 2) see sister marry!
Costa Rica & shelling, listening to Rosie Thomas. . .
New drapes--how can I pick that one pattern???
Craft room cabinets designed by hubby--be still my beating heart!
Ended a study in the Book of John
Began a study in the Book of Isaiah, define my life as a Christian
Long year of baseball games for Luke and Noah, like under a hundred games! How will I ever let go of my boys?
Camping Rock Creek (-Frank); breathe in the mountainside
Broken heart, healing (private)
teeth implant work (need I say anymore?)
Bellagio, downtime, decadent
Boston, Old World
Martha Study (unfinished)
Some crafting, carving stamps!

{The physical aspects I can gleefully list; but I am wondering about the matters of the spirit & heart I battle through, what were they & can I check them off like a pilot ready for take off? Suffering teen angst? Check! Worry less? Check! Pray more? Check Check!!}

My 2011 Word Post.

Bee, your crafts are BEAUTIFUL. I truly enjoy watching your creative process every time I visit your blog. I so wish I had more time to do my crafts and art and sewing!! Which, I know, is really a cop out. You make time for what is important. I think if I worried less about cleaning and chores, I would have more time to be creative and let my kids join in too. Thanks for the inspiration!

I also really admire how open and honest you with yourself. That's such a valuable characteristic.
