Scrap Before Sarah Moves In!

Good news!  Sarah and Kawai are moving in for an unspecified time--and I know I best get some scrapbooking in as I've been absent from the scene--four months now?!  I've never taken this much time away from scrapbooking.  On my table are three joyful things I am doing:  sketching, carving stamps and now a little scrapping.

Rock Creek from my pocket camera!

Zeus is keeping watch for his brothers in Tom's Place. . .will I get a snack too?  (Uh, no.)
Uncle Gary on the left is the best, always cooking up fab dinners and smores.  Most nights around the campfire.

Comfy trailer.
LOL.  Our space, cozy.
Luke & Frank did a hike on the own their own & took my camera for a few shots, you did good boys!

"CARVING" into my day.

Kendry Morales & Howie Kendricks, I am enjoying the 2009 Season.
Jared Weaver was the winning pitcher, Chone Figgins at third.  JW doesn't know it yet but he is my future son-in-law.  Do you hear that Sarah?
Sue, Luke & I were fortunate to score seats, SEVEN ROWS aside first base, Angels vs. Rangers.  I could easily get used to the life of season ticket holders!
This little mermaid I carved in bad lighting watching the Angel's game last night with Lorin.  Love those little bubbles I picked up at Micheal's.  I have misplaced my weekly journal and am stubbornly hoping to find it so refuse to design a new one, so I am currently using a small 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.  When I roll with a craft, I have tunnel vision.  Even though I go about my day, under the surface I am thinking. . .what next?

This mermaid is copied  from my pearl pendant.

My Own Stamp!

I have been wanting to create my own stamps for a few months!  I've wanted to do ocean related stamps, first coral.  Here's my first attempt done this evening, although I gouged the heck out of the carving block, I am so pleased to have my own signature coral stamp!   I'm off to do more!

Rock Creek 2009

Our home away from home, August 11-19th. . .bliss.
Georgianna and Olivia, cousins loved hanging with the boys.
Unending games of Speed, Password and Scrabble!

Frank and Lorin did a strenuous hike above Convict Lake, 16 miles total.  Frank broke a slight sweat, Lorin got home and went to bed, smile.
You beautiful boys with Zeus, our fearless one (NOT).

EIGHTEEN years this year, time indeed flies!
Frank, Noah and I sketched & enjoyed 24/7 downtime at Rock Creek.
