Tightroping

Are the big holidays overwith? Because this entire week I had ' Not a minute to spare'! It entailed: Scrapbook job, California Mission San Luis Re De Francia with Noah's class, PTA Meeting, Eucharist Meeting, helping a friend on the other side of town & luncheon date, let's not even mention the glory Mom chores.
My heart's desire was posting for OLW; and I did that by rushing home on Friday to work through at the very, literally, last minute. I posted on the deadline minute! Who in the world cuts it that close?? {Not thrilled with my work, given no time you just revert quickly to what's easiest. But you have to let it go & just begin anew. I did however, manage to post inspite of my crazy life. It's key to work inspite of stress. Anyway, here's a couple shots from the Mission & the book I was paid to do for a wonderful Christian woman who turned 80, her name is Joy, thus the sappy but apprepo 'Joy to the World'.

Relaxing on Rainy Saturday

Just relaxing with no agenda. Do have a scrapbook for a client to get done, and am doing well enough to spend time scrapping for myself. Trying to use some old stuff because methinks I have too much junk.
Oh how we needed that rain last night! That storm took down two of my recently transplanted palms, *sniff.

Into the Mystic

My new banner! I took this photo just before Christmas off my front porch. Doesn't it feel like you are looking up the skies from Maui or some place exotic? But, it's just my eyes wide open from Corona. My Minds Eye.

Happy New Year!

I would have liked to have added in my journaling, that for me, intimacy would include whomever I meet throughout my everyday--to be open & intimate. Part of that is my nature, but I need to be mindful that my intentions are as Christ would have me be.
Happy New Year, it feels good to bring in 2008.
I have a scrapbook on my table for a client due next week, Noah has a California Missions Project. . .the boys are wrapping their Christmas vacation up, so we hit the New Year running!
