Redondo Beach, California

It's all about HER.  LOL.
What I am appreciating is California shell picking.  I've been a snob.  After beach combing on Maui, I think no other shoreline offerings are good enough. . .but I find I have a delightful bag of goodies.  At first glance you don't think you will find anything on the shore. . .a smart shell picker takes every opportunity to increase her stash, while loving the seaside.

I have dragged into the shell-picking-black-hole:  Lacette, Karen, Kim, Janet (her sister Vicky). . .just because they know I love shells Andrew & his sister Sarah brought me a baggie from Coco Beach Florida!

Noah & Luke made All Star Teams!

So proud.  Luke made the 12 year old team with his Major coaches.
Noah made the 9/10 year old All Star team.  What an awesome year for both boys!  Our spring season was extended by making Corona American Little League's All Star teams. . .pretty darned special, these days of summer!

Coldplay Concert!

"The lights go out & I can't be saved,
tides that I tried to swim against
have brought me down upon my knees
oh I beg, I beg and plead
Singing
you are, you are. . .home, home where I wanted to go. . ."  (Clocks)   Sigh.  This song is timeless!
Lacette and her good friend Carmen, me.
Watching these talented musicians is memorable.  Coldplay gave free CD's of a recent live concert. . .

Her Projects vs. His Projects

LOL.  New wall hangings vs. new brick path being laid (just begun).   Above are Her projects, below His.   Okay, my Superhero wins.  He builds in 100 degree weather, I craft in cool shade.  It works for me!
