June Lake, California: Scrap Time
While The Boys went off snowboarding for two days, I hunkered down & had uninterrupted time for scrapbooking. I brought limited supplies, some patterned paper, necessities, and letter stickers. I scrapped a year's worth (8x8's & 8.5x11's), because if anyone knows me, knows I am making the most of my time. I had Luke with me the first day & my ITouch the next for company.
I loved that I had a stream of scrapping modes, one idea lead to three pages or a photo led to five more pages. . .back and forth. . .until, the lifts shut down! It was simply heavenly to sit back with hot coffee, watch The Boys leave & head for my spot at the table, and the day unfolded quietly. I do have to touch up quite a few layouts because I did not bring many embellishments, does anyone want to guess my number of layouts? If you ask I will not lie.

June Lake, California: Snow
Snowboarding & Snow fun! The Boys & I drove to the Sierra's outside of Mammoth area for some downtime. Winter life like this is foreign to me, the beauty and light on the mountains, majestic & I lack the words. I love to see the faces of children in foreign elements like this! First thing on their minds, P-L-A-Y! And so they did. What a photo-op, let me tell you. Definitely need more time to soak in the lifestyle of this kind of weather. 2008, hallelujah!

Ten Layouts & OLW
Sarah visited & we had such a great time, we can never get enough of her.
The boys have been off track at school & I've been able to sit at the table for some scrap fun! I'm trying my best to organize since I'm in the room playing, but somehow organizing & playing don't mix well. I'm on a scraproll, since I don't want to skip a heartbeat I am taking a small stash to the Sierra's. While the boys snowboard, I'll keep the cabin fire burning & scrap, read & relax. Be home midweek!

The big deal is that Sarah, my 26 year old baby girl is in town & it's pretty darm wonderful. She completes our family, I have lots of fun photos to scrap this month!
